PIN troubleshooting

Fix PIN setup, entry, or reset issues step by step.

Setting up your PIN

When creating your PIN:

• Make sure your PIN is exactly 6 digits
• Re-enter the same PIN when confirming it
• Avoid easy-to-guess numbers, such as repeated digits or obvious sequences
• Complete the setup flow without closing the screen

Entering your PIN

Your PIN is required for protected wallet actions, such as sending, swapping, or transferring tokens, and signing transactions.

If your PIN is incorrect, you can try again. Repeated failed attempts will trigger a temporary lockout to help protect your account.

If you are temporarily locked out, wait and try again. If you forgot your PIN, follow Account recovery.

Forgot your PIN?

You need your Recovery Key file to reset your PIN.

Have your Recovery Key ready, then follow Account recovery — I forgot my PIN.

You can start from Forgot PIN? on the PIN entry screen, Recover my PIN in AIR Wallet settings, or air3.com/recovery.
