Your 6-digit PIN
Your 6-digit PIN protects important wallet actions in AIR Wallet. Even if someone accesses your email, they cannot send funds or sign transactions without your PIN.
When will I need my PIN?
You will be asked to enter your PIN when you:
- Send, swap, or transfer tokens
- Sign transactions
- Export or replace your Recovery Key
- Change your PIN
When is my PIN not required?
Your PIN is not required for:
- Viewing your wallet (after you have set up your PIN)
- Viewing your wallet balance
- Receiving assets
- Issuing or verifying credentials
When do I set up my PIN?
You will be prompted to create a 6-digit PIN when you first access AIR Wallet, or before your first protected wallet action (such as sending, swapping, or signing a transaction).
Keep your PIN private
- Do not share your PIN with anyone
- AIR and Moca support will never ask for your PIN
- If you think someone else may know your PIN, change it right away: AIR Wallet settings → Update Account Settings → Update PIN
What happens if I enter the wrong PIN?
If you enter the wrong PIN, you can try again. Repeated failed attempts will trigger a temporary lockout to help protect your account.
If you forgot your PIN, see Account recovery.
